The DSPL 9 SLCN Outreach Service is based at Central Primary School and led by Tammy  Perry, tammyperry@central.herts.sch.uk

Support is available through a tiered approach to Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN). This builds on the specialist provisions for SLCN (Key Stage 1 and 2) at Central Primary School, expanding the educational support for pupils with SLCN beyond those who have EHCPs for SLCN.

This year the SLCN outreach service will be holding termly network meetings. These are open to all SENCO's and will provide an opportunity to share thoughts and concerns around SLCN on an unnamed child basis. Tammy will be in attendance to provide her support and advice  alongside  peer to peer  support.

Training and support.

The SLCN outreach team have produced 3 training webinars (with accompanying slides) as well as 'top tips' documents to support colleagues when working with CYP with SLCN.
